By installing or using this add-on you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall it.
What the add-on does
It turns a passage in a Google Docs document into a fill-in-the-blank worksheet with an answer key. You choose which words are eligible and how many of them become gaps.
Your documents are yours
We claim no rights over anything you write or anything the add-on produces from it. Worksheets you make are yours to use, print, and share as you see fit.
The free plan
The free plan covers 300 words at a time and 10 worksheets a month. We may change these limits. If we reduce them, we will say so before it takes effect.
Word difficulty levels
Where the add-on marks words as above or below a proficiency level, those levels come from a publicly available list compiled by Jonathan Waller and used under a Creative Commons Attribution licence.
No official word list exists for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test. The organisers stopped publishing test content specifications in 2010. The levels in this add-on are therefore an informed estimate, not an official standard, and we do not claim otherwise. Do not rely on them to decide whether a student is ready to sit an examination.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Japan Foundation or Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
What we do not promise
The add-on is provided as it is. Word segmentation and difficulty levels are produced automatically and will sometimes be wrong. Check the worksheet before you put it in front of a class.
We do not promise the service will always be available. We may change or withdraw features, and we may stop offering the add-on entirely, though we will give notice if we do.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Kaika Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the add-on. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You may stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if the add-on is used in a way that breaks these terms or harms the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Acknowledgements

- Word difficulty levels are based on lists by Jonathan Waller, used under Creative Commons Attribution.
